Training and Placement Cell

JIT College believes that the technical education should make the aspiring students find a job for their livelihood. The placement and training cell of the college provides platform for the students to find a job of their choice. In order to make them fit enough to face the placement interview the college conducts many useful training programs.

In the first year students are given orientation on placement training and they are made ready for the transformation from the school environment to college scenario. Training is given on communication skills, creativity and team building. In the second year students are encouraged to participate in various competitions, workshops, paper presentation and seminars. Their basic aptitude level is tested and they are taught basic things in logical and reasoning.

In the third year special importance is given for training in communication skills through our state of the art language lab on special areas like pronunciation, vocabulary, interview skills and writing reports.

In the final year students are trained in such a way to face interviews. All the pre-placement training programs are reviewed and various core companies, multinational company and government sectors are invited for job opportunities.

The aim of training and placement cell of institute is to place the students in competitively good companies by identifying their knowledge skills, attitude matrices of every individual student, creating job profile for them, identifying areas of trainings various methods as per the training requirement, formulate sequence of activities to meet the training schedules for appropriate placements.

This cell organizes:

  • Arrange summer training, as part of course curriculum and if required by students etc.
  • Training and work session CAD, CAM, PLC, SCADA, VLSI, Embedded System, Robotics etc.
