Library

Library is an essential component of the institute’s outstanding research and education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship.

The mission of the Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.

Library Resources

The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, and management. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Standards, General motivation Books.

Book Bank

The Institute runs a Book Bank intended to help students, from the economically weaker section of the society by giving the text books on loan for a whole semester according to the rules framed for this purpose from time to time.

Delnet

DELNET is available in JIT that help to students and faculty for searching the research papers and standards books. DELNET (Developing Library Network) is worldwide network that connect more than 1900 libraries of different states in India as well libraries of other countries. It provides the excellent facility of accessing more than ten millions of bibliographic records of book, journal, journal article etc. It also provides the facility to access the online journals, books and other articles for each and every member of DELNET individually. DELNET have a special feature that it can provide inter library loan and Document Delivery Service to the member of institution.
