Student Clubs

Its for overall development of students which heightens the students imagination power, inventiveness & virtuosity.Faculty members guide the students in the classes and labs, the students interact among themselves through a group named Student Club. The students are motivated to make these clubs, which helps them in learning Team Spirit, Achieving group targets and collective working which will be useful for them to become a social person.

Sports

  • With a view to develop the all round personality of the students, the College emphasizes as much on sports as on academics.
  • The Institution encourages students to attain sporting excellence and provides all the necessary facilities and equipment to the students for maintaining physical fitness and good health.
  • JIT of Colleges offers an extensive range of sports and fitness classes throughout the academic session. Qualified staff and trainers deliver programmes for all ages, tastes and abilities, from Cricket to Yoga to Weight Training and Aerobics.
  • There are separate coaches for all the games who groom the students and train them rigorously to compete at national level. All the games have equipment of International standards which is accessible to all the students.

Events

Zebronic event in JIT college

The annual national-level fest, Zebronic, is themost-awaited celebration at JIT College. Zebronic offers so much to the students. Not just the variety, but the scale on which it is organized is in itself so overwhelming. This technical-cum-cultural symposium sees participation from top technical colleges from across the country every year. It provides an opportunity to co-ordinate as teams and work towards a common cause. A window to really expand one’s horizons and manage within the constraints which is the true quality that defines professionals of today. The Institute organizes its annual function “RAYS” every year. Industrial visits to various Institutes and organizations are organized for the students from time to time.

Anti Ragging Measures at JIT

Ragging is totally prohibited in the JIT campus and in its Constituent Institutes and anyone found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging whether actively or passively, or being a part of conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force. As per UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.
